Ulrich Boozer Family

He and his wife, Catharina Buss and three children: Uhli (Ulrich), age 17; Anna age 14; and Elsbeth, age 10, ("Lists of Swiss Emigrants, Vol. II," p. 98) arrived in Charles Town aboard the sailing ship, Eagle, at the end of September in 1736 from the Canton of Basel, Switzerland. They came from the village of  Laufelfingen, Homburg District, located about twenty miles from the city of Basel

A 200 acre land grant was awarded Ulrick Busser in the township of Saxe Gotha between Tom's and Savannah Hunt Creek branches of Congaree River.
