John Abraham Glymph Family Johann Abraham Glimpff arrived 13 December 1754 on the Ship Neptune at Philadelphia (Daniel Rupp, "A Collection of upwards of Thirty Thousand NamesImmigrants in Pennsylvania from 1727 to 1776," page 348). Johann Abraham Glymph moved to SC and in 1769 received a grant of 100 acres in Berkeley County. In 1770, he sold this tract with dower signed by wife, Catherine.
