Jacob Lindler and  Sally Eargle were united in Holy Matrimony on the 24th day of December in the year of our Lord 1946.

BIRTHS:

Jacob Lindler was  born  on  the 25th of August in the year of our Lord 1822. His parents were John Lindler and Magdalena (Aull) his wife. His sponsors in Baptism  were  Jacob Eargle and Magdalena his wife.

Sally Eargle was born on May 23rd 1825. Her parents were Michael  Eargle (Mrs. Frick says Junior) and Nancy, his wife. Her sponsors are the same.

Walter Franklin  Lindler was  born 12   Dec 1847. His parents Jacob Lindler and Sally his wife. Sponsors Joshua McCaetha and Anna his wife,

Simuel Olapher (Simeon) Lindler  was   born 25 Oct 1849. His parents were  Jacob   Lindler   and wife Sally. Sponsors were William Lindler and Elizabeth.

Marthaan Elizabeth Lindler was born the 12th of March in 1851. Her parents are  Jacob   Lindler   and wife Sally Eargle. Her sponsors in Baptism are John Lindler and his sister Caroline,

John Henry Lindler was born Nov the 28th 1852. His parents are Jacob Lindler and Sally. His sponsors are his own parents.

Permealyan Lucinda Lindler was born June 21 1854. Her parents are Jacob Lindler and  Sally Eargle. Her sponsors are Michael Koon and Christinia his wife.

Julian demanda (Julie Ann Amanda)  Lindler was born Dec 30, 1856. Her parents are  Jacob and Sally Lindler. Sponsors are John Lindler and his wife Rosanna.

George Washington Lindler was born Oct 19, 1858. Parents Jacob and Sally Lindler.  Sponsors  were William Lindler and Maryan his wife.

Jacob Edwind Lindler was born Dec 21st 1861. Parents Jacob are Sally. Sponsors were   George  Eargle and Ellen Eargle, his sister .

James Calvin Lindler was born July 10, 1863. Parents Jacob are Sally. Sponsor was his mother.

Twins were the last   children  born to Sally - after Jacob's death. They are  buried   beside her with plain fieldstone markers.

Jacob Lindler died at Atlanta, GA from wound received in the fight at Chickamauga. He died on the 29th of Sept. 1863. Two of his grandsons went and found his tombstone in a Confederate Cemetery in Atlanta, GA.

Sally's stone reads: Sally Eargle wife of Jacob Lindler to whom were born ten children. Died Sept. 12, 1889. Aged 64 years, 3 months and 24 days. (2miles south of Chapin, SC, Exit of I-26. S 32-232, north side of road.)
